What is single entry vs multiple entry?
Simple answer
Single entry usually means you may enter once. Multiple entry means you may enter more than once while the visa remains valid — subject to each entry’s stay rules.
What it means
Leaving the country on a single-entry visa often uses up that visa. Multiple-entry visas still have an overall validity window and per-entry stay limits.
What you may need to do
Choose the entry type your travel pattern needs, if the product offers a choice. Do not assume multiple entry when the grant says single.
Country / visa warning
Entry counts and stay rules are printed on the visa/pass conditions. Read them for your destination.
Next action
Check your grant letter or eVisa conditions for entry type before you plan side trips.
