The TT visa is issued to foreign nationals who are the spouse or children under 18 of a foreign holder of an LV1, LV2, LS, ĐT1–ĐT3, NN1, NN2, DH, PV1, LĐ1 or LĐ2 visa, or the parent, spouse or child of a Vietnamese citizen. It is valid for up to 1 year. Holders can apply for a temporary residence card with the same symbol, valid for up to 3 years. A sponsoring organisation in Vietnam applies to the Immigration Department or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
