The Temporary Employment Visit Pass (PLKS) allows foreign nationals aged 18 to 45 to work in Malaysia within approved sectors such as manufacturing, plantations, agriculture, construction, services, or as domestic helpers. Foreign workers are permitted to stay according to the duration granted on the pass, up to a maximum total working period of 5 years. Holders are not allowed to bring family members, change employers or sectors without permission, or marry locally.

- What you need to show
- Work in an approved sector: manufacturing, plantation, agriculture, construction or services. The employer gets quota approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs and applies for a Visa With Reference. Workers stay outside Malaysia while the application is processed and pass a FOMEMA medical after arrival.
