Some short-term work, such as speaking at seminars, journalism, exhibitions and sports, can be done without a work pass. You must be engaged before you arrive, hold a valid visit pass, and notify MOM after arriving and before starting. You can do this for up to 90 days in a calendar year in total. Business meetings, conferences as a participant and trade visits do not need notification.
