The DH visa is issued to foreign nationals who come to study or do an internship. It is valid for up to 1 year. Holders can apply for a temporary residence card with the same symbol, valid for up to 5 years. A spouse and children under 18 can come on a TT visa. A sponsoring organisation in Vietnam applies to the Immigration Department or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
