The NN1 visa is issued to foreign nationals who head a representative office or project of an international organisation or foreign non-governmental organisation in Vietnam. It is valid for up to 1 year. Holders can apply for a temporary residence card with the same symbol, valid for up to 3 years. A spouse and children under 18 can come on a TT visa. A sponsoring organisation in Vietnam applies to the Immigration Department or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
