ICA issues the Long-Term Visit Pass to the spouse of a Singapore citizen or permanent resident, unmarried children under 21 of citizens or PRs, parents of citizens or PRs, graduates of Singapore institutes of higher learning looking for work, a parent or grandparent of a child studying on a Student's Pass, and visitors given permission to give birth in Singapore. A Singaporean or PR sponsor applies online. ICA usually decides within 6 weeks for most categories, and up to 6 months for spouses who skip the Pre-Marriage LTVP Assessment.
